The clock is made of sturdy and well painted wood. The design looks great in our son's nursery. Our older son had a popclox firetruck clock and taught himself with minimal assistance beyond basic instructions how to read analog clocks with it when he was 3. We loves these clocks, they bring cheer to the room, and serve educational purposes.

Purchased this clock in pink for my 3 year old daughter's bedroom, she loves owls. Super cute! The clock seems like it is built to last. I do wish the numbers were a little larger so it would be a easier to use a time-teaching tool up on the wall, and the color could be a bit more vibrant, but these are simply design choices - no demerits for that. I'm very satisfied with this purchase - I've told some friends with young children to consider these if they're looking for something unique and fun.
